Graham spent the end of summer playing two complicated Disney Dads.
Technically, Frollo in The Hunchback of Notre Dame is Quasimodo’s adopted father, but the relationship is just as deep. The Theatre Raleigh production was staged inside an actual church (the Vintage Church of Raleigh) and that immersion, combined with the North Carolina Master Chorale, made for an almost spiritual experience.
Next was Graham’s second time playing Joseph Pulitzer, this time at the marvelous Kansas City Starlight. With outdoor seating of 8,000, the battle with the Newsies took on an epic scale.
